One of the best travel hacks is to book a long layover on your way to your final destination, and that’s exactly what I did in Istanbul. 24 hours to get lost and explore on my own with no guide or map just led by kind locals with good hearts.

I was able to see much of the city and took some amazing photos on my own just walking aimlessly around town and coming across amazing tourist spots such as: the GRAND BAZAAR & TAHT located in Eminönü.

 

I was even able to make it to the best restaurant in ISTANBUL - KFC

And here is a great tip: the dollar is very strong here #super_size_please
